Leading The Way in a #MeToo Era

We have all heard the stories, powerful people accused, news, headlines, organizations affected. #MeToo has brought a renewed focus to organizational efforts to create a culture of respect and avoid harassment/discrimination claims. This presentation will address how to lead an organization through #MeToo. We will examine topics such as the role of leadership, the business case for a respectful workplace, the impact of diversity, the effect of implicit bias, the meaning of respect, and the impact of micro-iniquities and stereotypes. This presentation will look at the causes and consequences of harassment and discrimination in the workplace, and demonstrate ways in which leaders can promote change that encourages a welcoming environment for all.
